Our Upcoming Events at ACEP25

Cyber Attack Event

September 9, 4:00PM-6:00PM

Cyber-attacks like ransomware are no longer theoretical—they’re disrupting emergency departments across the country, delaying care, diverting ambulances, and compromising patient safety. In this hands-on session, emergency medicine clinicians will participate in a live, interactive tabletop exercise simulating a hospital cyber-attack. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of clinical cyber preparedness, experience the real-time decisions needed during a digital crisis, and walk away with a practical response framework to implement at their own institutions. No technical background required—just a commitment to keeping emergency care moving when the systems go down.
