Robert Hughes

Dr. Hughes practices clinically at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio serving as the Vice Chair of CLinical Affairs for University Hospitals Emergency Medicine. He has the pleasure of serving as the Director of University Hospitals Emergency Medicine Quality Network. He has formerly served as the Associate Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine, Medical Director for Advanced Practice Providers, as well as Director of Observation Medicine at University Hospitals, Cleveland Medical Center. His operational interests are broad, serving on numerous hospital and system level committees notably serving as the Director of UHHS Operations and Logistics and Medical Director of the System Operations Center. Dr. Hughes enjoys educating at all levels, serving as Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Case Western Reserve University Medical School, as well as serving as Core Faculty and resident educator, and has had the pleasure of teaching on regional, national, and international levels.
