Heidi Best

Dr. Heidi Best is the President of the Emergency Physicians of Tidewater (EPT) in Virginia. She has led the group through growth and transformation, drawing from her experiences in multiple roles within EPT and her engagement in ACEP and AAEM.  She continues to serve on the Emergency Medicine Business Coalition Board of Directors as the Immediate Past Chair. As an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), she is an engaging and progressive role model for the next generation of upcoming leaders in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Best continues to be engaged nationally as an AAEM Board of Directors member and through committee work in both ACEP and AAEM.
