Dr. Maurer is a practicing emergency physician with Emergency Medicine Specialists in Milwaukee and also serves as the CEO of ConsensioHealth RCM. After earning her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, she completed her EM residency here in DC at George Washington University. She is a former ACEP Reimbursement Fellow and a recipient of both the ACEP Council Horizon Award and the EMRA 25 Under 45 Award.  She was a founder and the first Chair of the Board for the Emergency Medicine Business Coalition and now serves as the Vice Chair of the ACEP Reimbursement Committee as a member on the Board of EDPMA.
