The semifinals and finals of the PEER Challenge, an annual single elimination tournament where residency programs face off in a showdown of clinical knowledge, were held live at the Battle Docs Arena in the Exhibit Hall at ACEP25 in September.

Both rounds of the competition were hosted by emergency physician and six-time Jeopardy! winner Amy Hummel, MD.

Congratulations to the members of the Good Samaritan team — Christopher DiNicola, DO; Sunil Shah, MD, MBA; Sherif Shehata, MD; and Arthur Speziale, DO — and to their program director David Levy, DO, FACEP. As the grand prize winners, Good Samaritan will receive a full year of complimentary PEERprep for Programs for the 2026-27 academic year.
