EMS Week

In Celebration of the 52nd anniversary of EMS Week

On May 17-23, 2026, the nation will celebrate 52 years of EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. The EMS Week campaign was formalized in 1974 by President Gerald Ford, whose desire was to ensure this heroic community was acknowledged for the indispensable role they play in the healthcare continuum.
