If You Have an Interest in Volunteering, Now is the Time to Apply
The College’s President-Elect, L. Anthony Cirillo, MD, FACEP, has announced the beginning of the selection process for appointing members to serve on national ACEP committees during fiscal year 2025-26.
Members interested in serving on a national ACEP committee are asked to contact Mary Ellen Fletcher, CPC, CEDC, CAE or call 800-798-1822, ext. 3145. The committee interest form is also available here.
Dr. Cirillo requests that in addition to submitting a curriculum vitae with the committee interest form, members should include specific information explaining qualifications and experiences relevant to a particular committee. Members are also encouraged to contact their chapter or hospital to obtain a letter of support for their appointment. Member interest and qualifications will be matched with College needs. A letter of support from a program director and/or mentor is required for residents and medical students. A list of current national ACEP committees, members, objectives, and annual reports are located on ACEP's Web site.
Although most committee work will be accomplished through email and conference calls, committee members are expected to attend the organizational meetings at the annual meeting in Salt Lake City, UT, September 7-10, 2025. The appointment is contingent on the member completing a Conflict of Interest form and submitting by the deadline.
